Frequently Asked Questions

Ink Apes temporary tattoos are a fast way to test the tattoo vibe without the commitment. Apply them to clean, dry skin, let them set properly, and enjoy a realistic-looking tattooed look for photos, parties, festivals, weekends away, or just seeing how a design feels on you first.
Ink Apes temporary tattoos are made to look bold, clean, and photo-ready on skin. The final look can vary a little depending on placement, lighting, skin texture, body hair, and how well the tattoo is applied, but the goal is a natural tattooed effect rather than a shiny sticker look.
Wear time depends on where you place it and how much friction, water, sweat, oils, and skincare products hit that area. Areas like hands, fingers, and spots that rub against clothes usually fade faster, while smoother low-friction areas tend to hold better.
Not always. But if the area is very hairy, or the design has finer detail, a light shave can help the tattoo sit cleaner on the skin and make the final result look sharper.
Start with clean, dry skin. Avoid applying over lotion or oil, try not to rub the area right away, and pat it dry after showers instead of scrubbing it. Heavy exfoliation, friction, and oily skincare products will usually shorten the life of the tattoo.
You can usually speed removal up with warm water, soap, body oil, makeup remover, or gentle exfoliation. Don’t attack your skin like it owes you money — just be gentle and repeat if needed.
The 3 Pack is great if you just want to test the vibe. The 5 Pack is the sweet spot for value and variety. The 10 Pack is best if you want the biggest haul, the lowest cost per tattoo, and enough options for events, trips, and content days.
Free shipping currently unlocks on the 5 Pack and 10 Pack offers. If you want the best value plus the easiest shipping deal, those are usually the ones to look at.
Yep — if you need help with an order, email support@inkapes.com and include your order number plus a quick note about what happened. That’ll make things way faster.
Ink Apes currently focuses on temporary tattoos, and semi-permanent products are planned for the future. So right now, this is the best place to try the look before committing.
